Lafayette Cemetery This was a re-investigation of the Lafayette Cemetery. The
first investigation produced only one photo that was
inconclusive as to if it was paranormal or not. It appeared
to be a small person with possibly a tail and a single horn.
During this re-investigation we were able to determine the
picture was not paranormal, but a blurred picture of a “plot
angel” as an angle where you could not see the wings or
distinguish it as a plot angel.
Section 1
– While setting up equipment, Tech Manager, Jeff Holder,
looked up and saw a full bodied apparition about 10 ft from
the road and 6-8ft in front of him. As a result of this
sighting, we placed a handheld infrared video camera on a
tripod at the location in hopes of capturing the apparition
on video. This effort was unsuccessful. One of the teams,
all of the team members (3) reported hearing a male voice
near the Marsh Monument. This voice was not captured on the
audio recordings and could possibly have been from a
neighboring residence as there were several residents around
their homes throughout the night.
Section 2
- Two investigators, on a team of 3, suddenly and without
known cause, to get completely drained of energy, imbalanced
and minor feelings of nautiousness. No members from other
teams reported such effect
Section 3
– No reported perceived paranormal activity.
Section 4
– An investigator reported having seen a “shadow person”.
When the “shadow person moved” it was followed by a small
faint light. This sighting was not captured on still
picture, video or audio.
EMF
(electro-magnetic field)
– there were 2 EMF spikes, both of which can be explained by
power lines overhead or near (Road between sections 1 and 2
and near Confederate graves).
CONCLUSION
– With the sightings as well as the physical effects
experienced being by seasoned and experienced investigators,
we place a rating of “Paranormal
activity may be present” on
this investigation sight. This rating means we cannot say
there is paranormal activity as the activity experienced was
not conclusive or backed up by data. We also cannot say
there is no paranormal activity because of the sightings and
effects encountered by experienced investigators.
