BACKGROUND INFORMATION & INVESTIGATION NOTES
There
was no reported paranormal activity. However there was one
suspicious occurrence which occurred. Lead Investigator/Tech
Manager, Jeff Holder, reports: “Kelly, Joe and myself went
outside to take some photo’s and do some EVP work. All three
of us heard tapping on the back corner window towards the
Marsh House and it was coming from the inside as if someone
was trying to get our attention. I thought that it was
Catherine Edgemon, but she was upstairs reading a book. We
finished the outside part of the investigation and decided
to call it and go in and download the evidence upstairs.
Kelly went upstairs first followed by Joe then myself. I
downloaded Joe’s memory card from his digital camera to my
laptop with my card reader. Using the same card reader I
tried to download Kellys’ memory card and nothing would
happen. The computer didn’t show it or anything. I had Kelly
put the card back in her camera, it showed “Card error”. I
gave her my extra memory card to try in her camera and it
worked (so it was not her camera). I put her card in my
camera and was able to format the card. I took a photo and
it worked. I formatted the card again and gave it back to
her to try in her camera and it worked. It seems there was a
quick and very strong EMF (electro-magnetic field) that
deleted her card. This incident happened between the bottom
step and the table upstairs.”
Conclusion -
Since we cannot say the possible EMF anomaly involving the
memory card was paranormal or natural combined with the
tapping on the window, neither of which is conclusive for or
against “paranormal” our conclusion is “Paranormal activity
may be present”..
