Background Information & Reported Activity

Private Residence on the site of a home that burned down in 2004. The garage from the first house was saved and is attached to the present house. The house that is there now was moved there, it was used as a daycare for a church. The family consists of Parents, 20 yr old daughter and her 3 yr old son, and a 19 yr old son. They have been in the house since Dec. 2009. They have all heard footsteps, a door slammed, lights going on and of in one of the bathrooms. The main reason for them requesting this investigation is the 3 yr old. He sees and talks to a man who he says is named Ken and the man scares him, but he also saw and talked to Ken in their previous house. The 3 yr old also talks about seeing a little girl. He says he doesn't talk to the little girl and she doesn't talk to him but she's “burned”.

Investigation notes

G.H.O.S.T. Team arrived at the investigation site at 7:30 pm. Met with the homeowner and began setting up equipment in pre-designated areas based on the client interview of reported activity and collected pre-investigation data readings (there were no anomalous readings at that time).

The first of three (3) rotations began at 9:30 pm with two (2) teams (one outside and one inside). Each rotation lasting 60 minutes in duration. The 3rd rotation was based on experiences and/or evidence captured on the first two (2) rotations.

While Team #1 was investigating the outside of the home, one investigator captured an unusually high EMF reading of 3.5 around the right side of the home going back toward and under the back porch. He was unable to locate a source for the reading before it disappeared. Other readings ranging from 4.5 to 11.7 were detected in the garage, particularly near the “attic hole” and 7.9 near the tracks of the garage door. As no source could be located and the disappearance and reappearance of high EMF readings, this constitutes an anomalous EMF reading with unknown origin.

There were a few minor personal experiences encountered by the investigators, none of which can be backed up with supporting evidence. The experiences included: cold spots, overwhelming feelings, smell of roses (or something sweet), 2 investigators on Team #1 stated they thought they saw a “shadow” in the dining room from the Master Bedroom. One investigator stated she felt as if someone touched her arm in the living room, however nothing was captured on video or still pictures to validate this statement.

EVP’s

There were a total of 4 probably EVP’s collected throughout the investigation.

1.  Baby’s room – All 3 investigators, in the 3 yr olds bedroom, a “sweet” odor resembling what they described as “like Roses”. One investigator asked, “Is that a sign you’re trying to give us, by letting us smell the sweet smell?” They received an intelligible response. Class “C”

2.  Living room – Investigators were in the living room and had just started the EVP session when the investigator asked, “Do you like being called Billi Bob?” a few seconds later they captured an unaccountable sound which resembles that of a female sigh. Class “C”

3.  Living room – Team was wrapping up their rotation (had asked for extra time). As they were leaving an investigator has asked another if they were still recording, just before the Team Leader announced to the Command Center that they were coming in, this unsolicited voice was captured on the recording, seemingly saying, “Albert”, “hour” or something similar. Class “B”

4.  Baby’s room – Investigators were in the 3 yr olds bedroom. There were no questions being asked at the time this unsolicited response/sound occurred. We cannot say whether this is a voice or sound. Non classable

 CONCLUSION

Paranormal activity may be present.

Although evidence captured is anomalous, it cannot be conclusively determined to be of a paranormal nature but cannot be conclusively ruled out either.

If the activity and evidence is of a paranormal nature, there are no indications that the activity is malevolent.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Inspect wiring inside of attic (attic hole) as faulty wiring could be responsible for the extremely high EMF readings captured. Consider replacing florescent light in garage as defective or dying ballast can cause the type of fluctuating EMF captured at the light.

If you feel you continue to experience what you perceive as paranormal activity, continue to document the details of the occurrences on a running log. Contact G.H.O.S.T., Inc. if begin to feel threatened, fearful or if activity continues or escalates even after following the above recommendations.
