Auras

Aura Definitions
  • Origin of the word Aura comes from Middle English “gentle breeze” or the Greek aurā, meaning  breath.

  • In a paranormal context, auras are a personal atmosphere surrounding living things. These auras can be visible as different colored lights, sensations, energy, radiation, emanation or “invisible breath”. Auras are detectable by special equipment or by individuals who have a gift for sensing them.

  • Auras are renowned for providing insight into a person’s personality and health. The color, intensity, opacity, and the presence of “breaks” in a person’s aura are evaluated. Auras are dynamic in that they can change as the individual’s health or emotional status changes.

Aura Definitions
  • From a medical standpoint, auras precede the onset of acute disorders, including epileptic seizures or migraines. Auras are actually symptoms of an anomaly in the brain and may present themselves as  flashing or gleaming lights, numbness, speech impairment, weakness, blurred vision, or the sensation of a particular odor.

  • Tests to determine if individuals can actually see auras have proven it is impossible unless the individual can be seen. Since auras surround a person’s body they theoretically should be seen even when the individual is out of view. Tests in which aura readers attempted to detect the presence of individuals standing just to one side of an open doorway, but out of view, proved to be no more accurate than chance.

  • A second diagram shows the individual’s chakras. The bar graph at the bottom shows chakra levels. It is important for spiritual and physical health that chakras stay properly aligned. Also, note the white area on the left hand side of the diagram. Supposedly, this is a spiritual guide associated, since birth, with this member of our investigative team. This white area is also seen in the member’s aura picture below.
