Ghosts & History Of Southeastern Tennessee, Inc. was formed
in February 2007 and Incorporated as a Non-Profit Organization with the State of
Tennessee in April 2007.
Most of us came to this group from other groups and some
never had any experience in the field of Paranormal research but had a strong
personal interest. Either way, we strive to provide the best, thorough and honest
scientifically based research we can. With this field in it's infancy, it is a
constant learning process for us all.
Many refer to Paranormal Investigators as "Ghost
Hunters". That's well and fine but not exactly accurate. We don't "hunt" ghosts.
We go where asked to investigate to determine if what is being experiences is
paranormal or natural. We seek the truth and to help others with that truth. If
we happen to capture a ghost on our equipment, that's great. Our main goal is to
help those experiencing activity they don't understand or which may be causing
them concern, confusion and even fear.
We only cite as evidence of paranormal what we can back
up with data as evidence, not merely offering an uneducated or untrained
opinion.
In addition to providing free paranormal
investigations, we strive to educate the public on the paranormal through our
web site, public speaking, displays and community involvement. We are as eager
to learn more as we are to share what we have learned.

Outside (long distance) areas considered based on organizational funds and
staff availability
Ghosts & History Of Southeastern Tennessee, Inc. "G.H.O.S.T." is
based in southeastern Tennessee (hence the name). However, we conduct Historical
research, participate in Historical preservation initiatives and paranormal research in other areas as
well, such as Alabama, Georgia and other surrounding states as the opportunities
and financial abilities allow.
